Iam a big fan of Rajini and Shankar and iam waiting to watch the movie Enthiran.But the recent hype given for this movie is too much.SUN pictures,we know about their media and publicity,we saw that from vettaikaran to thillalangadi,they will show the trailer every 1/2 an hour and they announce the movie results in SUN news itself and in top10 movies all the sun pictures movie will be in no:1 like vettaikaran,theeratha vilayattu pillai,sura,thillalalangadi..etc and the good movies wont come in the list at all or they will say intha padatha nama thevaiyana allavuku alasitathala adutha idatha pidica padatha pakalam and the good movie will be in 10th position.These things and all we have seen and for enthiran they went one step ahead.
Recently i was shocked to see one program in T.V it was "Enthiran Trailer Release" ,i have never seen any thing like this happened for any movie.They will be showing all the people running on the streets and all the people woke up early morning to see enthiran trailer release and they are creating such a big hype after all its a movie ,even if its a good movie,no other producers will be showing such a programs or give such a big hype.Are they thinking tamil audience as a fool.If its a really gud movie it will be surely super dooper hit and such programs are unnecessary and now they are telecasting a program called "Enthiran release ulagengum" and in this people will be waiting in theaters for tickets doing paal abishegam for their hero.May be it rajini's rasigargal doing this...even some hero's are insisting not to do such things and take care of their family.Media people have the responibility to show audiences that these acts are not going to gain anything for them,but in this case they are telecasting all the things done on the theaters like doing paal abishegam for the hero and people are pulling chariots and they are doing pooja's in temple and breaking 108 coconuts ,tonsuring their head,putting name of the movie in their hairstyle and that too they are showing all the things done from state to state in India and also all over the world.Tamil people will encourage all good movies and its a step ahead for tamil movies history,i agree this, but no body will encourage such hype and such programs being telecasted in T.V.Are they thinking audiences as a fool.After all its movie ,but they are telecasting this repeatedly as though its a makkal nala thittam and asking comments from C.M and showing Enthiran thamilaga makkalin deepavali as headlines.
Ultimate highlight is they are asking for "D.V.D's of enthiran celebration in your region and we will telecast it in coming weeks"

We did not watch yet. Felt the same about Sun pictures and did not want to spend so much.
ReplyDeleteI always hate sun pictures super hype promotion. Abt their top 10 you mentioned it right and it is so unfair to good movies. We know vettaikaran and sura is super dooper flop but they had it in no.1 position for very long time.
ReplyDeleteIn enthiran trailer release programme, did you notice that there are also many banners of kalanidi maran. Many fans were also praising maran in that programme. I seriously doubt any rajini fan will do so. It becomes clear that they are sun tv's allakai.
