Back to my Country

                                                 I came to US six months ago and now its time to go back to my country and to start my routine activities. I had lots of memorable moments during my stay and I want to cherish those moments forever in my life time. It’s not that I don’t like to go back to my country but I also miss this place. If I go back to my country I can see my parents, sister, my in-laws, my friends and all the relatives back again and I wanted to go back to my country. For six months it has been a wonderful time taking care of my family, cooking and being a typical house wife. I really enjoyed those moments more than anything but as the day passes I started to miss my country as well. I have never thought ill come to US in my life time. I am not saying coming to US is a great achievement but it’s an opportunity to see new places, meet new people, and experience new climatic conditions and to compare the life style. I was so thrilled to experience different weather and lifestyle and I am equally thrilled to go back to my Country,It’s always happy to be in our own country without worrying about visa and live independently.
                                                    I mainly wanted to come to US just to have a break from the normal monotonous life and I desperately wanted a break from my routine life to take care of my kid and concentrate more towards my family and I want to experience as a house wife and a good time came and luckily I got sabbatical leave from my work. I know how much I struggled for the leave, that’s the only fruitful favor I got from my company working these many years. Before I leave I wish I could see the snow fall as well, don’t know whether I will see. Keeping the fingers crossed. Out of the new places which I visited I liked the Chicago trip very much, where I got a chance to meet my colleague and a friend. He has taken very good care of us,i take oppurtunity to thank him and. Thanks for my sister in law for arranging a wonderful Lake Chellan trip.Time has come I need to go back to my country and start my routine activities again. This time I have new challenges and I have to work hard for it, cherishing the happy moments with me. I will miss centennial lake very much, when ever I felt bore or sad ill spend time having a sight of the still lake. This is one of my favorite spot. I thank God for giving me this opportunity in my life and special thanks to my husband.I also thank friends over here who have helped us to settle the family initially.

Here are the few dinosaurs which are popular among kids and which i know, there are A-Z types of dinosaurs which you can explore. Each type lived in certain time period like Triassic,Jurassic  and the Cretaceous time periods.
Amargasaurus:
Look at the spike in its spine.

 Stegosaurus::

Appearance: It had a plate likes spike running around its spine
(we don't have stegosaurus toy @ home :-))
Triceratops:
Its a herbivore
Indentification:It has a three horns in its head and looks like today's rinosaur.

Navarathri Special

When i say navarathri, the first thing that comes to my mind is Sundal :-).I still remember my childhood days ,we used to go to Girija mami's house and have a look at the golu, for each golu they used to display a creative thing like park, railway station etc and eat delicious Sundal.Navarathri is a festival celebrated for 9days.First three days for Goddesses Durga, the next three days for Goddesses Lakshmi and the last three days for Goddesses Saraswathi. The 9th day is the Saraswathi pooja,i like this festival very much where we used to workship books and the tools which help us in our daily life.Even if i have exams i will not read in this day:-) and the 10th day is Vijayadhasami which means victory. If we do anything on his day it will sure be a success. This festival also helps to socialize with others where neighbours use to call to their home for golu. Here is the pic of Saraswathi pooja 2010  celebration.

I Love Pizza

When i tasted pizza for the first time,i dint like it and i felt as if eating chappathi(Indian flat bread :-)),but after eating couple of times i started to love it and now i could not stop starving for pizza.I thought i should stop this some how. After heading to gym couple of times(for the first time in my life history) i know how difficult it is to reduce 150 calories.I am not weight conscious but it is a sign of improvement :-)

Eating cheese pizza's weekly once is not good at all,if there is not much of activity. When i thought of ways to stop this starving,a movie came  to my mind where, Manorama hangs a live chicken and eats rice, assuming to eat kozhi kulumbu satham and S.Ve.Sheakar goes one step ahead and he hangs a picture of it and eats rice :-).I am going to go even a step ahead and  i am going to imagine pizza and eat wheat bread.I have this idea but not implemented it :-).Still i like to have pizza when i go out:-)

Fall Colors in "US"

Fall season is the transition period from summer to winter. It occurs in the period beginning of September to mid of December.During this season all the leaves starts changing its colors , gradually it will fall of and this is the sign that winter is going to start.Eventually all the trees shed its leaves and it will be leafless,so that they can bare the weight of the snow ,when the snowfall starts.I have taken pictures of fall colors in my apartment complex.

Eventually all the trees will shed its leaves
